Family sessions are a way to capture your family in the place it’s in - right now. They are sometimes wild, and a bit messy, but always worth it. It has to be fun! I take pride in making everyone feel comfortable and ready to giggle, yell, run, jump, twirl, you name it!

We had a mini family session with our 11 month old son who can't seem to sit still and has a short fuse when it comes to focusing for extended periods of time. Alex did an amazing job of getting him to engage with the camera with her expert level goofiness and excitement. He was so happy and had the time of his life with Alex behind the camera. I almost started crying because it was such a special moment to experience as a new mom. I really can’t recommend her enough, especially if you have a little one and are stressing about how you're going to get them to sit and smile for photos. This is our first child and the photos turned out so beautifully. We’ll be using them for Holiday cards and will hold on to a couple to put up in our house as a reminder of our first holiday season with our sweet boy.”

Our experience with Alex was wonderful! We have done a variety of photo shoots with Alex: maternity photos, nursing photos, and family photos. Our most recent experience was with a large group for family photos. It included my husband and I with our three kids, my parents, my brother, and my sister and her husband. We had a number of photo shoots in mind: the adult couples, grandparents with grandkids, the 3 kids, my siblings and I, etc…I wasn’t sure what to expect about getting all these shots in within the hour time frame, especially when we had 3 kids (ages 8, 5, and 10 months). The best thing I love about Alex is how she is so calm and relaxed! She helped make the session fun for my kids while giving them things to do and ways to participate. We were able to get all the shots we wanted and the kids remained engaged up to the end! I didn’t feel stressed or rushed during the experience as Alex remained calm and steady through it all. We are very pleased with our final photos and are excited to print some great family photos for newsletters, Christmas cards, and the mantle! These will make great gifts for grandparents and other family members, also. Thank you, Alex, for another great session!
